Bert Rose, 93, beloved husband of the late Marcia; loving father of Nancy (Rob) Berg and Bob (Judy) Rose; cherished grandfather of Tracie (Dan) McCarthy, Michael Berg and Stephanie Berg; adored Papa Bert of Connor and Bailey McCarthy; devoted son of the late Eva and Sol Rosenberg; treasured friend of many. Bert was a proud WWII Army veteran and a lifetime member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians Local 10-208 and the Association of Professional Orchestra Leaders. Graveside service Monday 1 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 Rand Rd, Arlington Heights followed by a memorial service at 3 PM at Am Shalom, 840 Vernon Avenue, Glencoe.
